WHAT IS A WATER CHECK?


A Water Check analyzes the efficiency of your sprinkler system. Trained evaluators perform the Water Check at your home, business, or institution and provide you with a customized irrigation schedule. Soil type, grass root depth, sprinkler distribution uniformity and water pressure will all be evaluated. The entire process takes about an hour.


WHEN AND WHERE ARE THEY AVAILABLE?


Water Checks are available from May through August in the following counties: Iron, Washington, Davis, Weber, Morgan and Summit. Water Checks are also available in Salt Lake City, Sandy City and Eagle Mountain City.


HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?


The water check program is a free service sponsored by your water provider.


HOW DO I SIGN UP?


To sign up in Salt Lake City, Sandy City, Eagle Mountain City, Iron and Washington Counties please fill out and submit the form below.

To sign up for a Water Check in Weber, Davis, Morgan, and Summit counties please call- 801-771-1677.

In all other areas, please contact your local USU County Extension office for information and materials on conducting your own Water Check.
